Q3 2022 Luxury Market across LA (Hancock Park to Malibu)

The $5+ million luxury segment of the real estate market from Hancock Park to Malibu is down slightly year to date as of the  end of August 2022.

  •  765 closed sales of $5+ million this year, versus 784 at this time last year. (-2.5%).
    • 239 were $10+ million, versus 257 at this time last year. (-7%)
    • 63 were $20+ million this year, versus 70 at this time last year. (-24%).
      • Of these, 28 sales of $30 plus million this year, versus 23 at this time last year (+22%)
      • Of these,17 were $40 plus million this year, versus 12 at this time last year. (+42%).

As of September 1st there were 70 pending sales of $5+ million vs 108 sales at this time last year.
