Hancock Park real estate made international news again this week for the most recent luxury home listed for sale on Muirfield Road in the Hancock Park Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ). If it sells at the current list price, Howard Hughes’ former estate designed in 1926 by Roland E. Coate and sited on Wilshire Country Club’s 8th hole would be a record breaking sale.
Howard and Katharine Hepburn often walked and played on this course during his 14 year ownership. Perhaps you caught a glimpse of it when watching “The Aviator”?
